The Syndicate
Speedball League
We at ARC heard that the AFPL (Almost Famous Paintball League) was getting into airsoft so we were intrigued. The AFPL caught our eye years ago with their unique format known as Redzone. This format is the most watchable format we've ever seen in projectile sports. Seeing the AFPL move into airsoft under The Syndicate it was a no brainer to get them on our team.
REDZONE format
Redzone was developed back in 2013 by the AFPL (Almost Famous Paintball League) based out of southern California. The format has an actual focal point which is missing in traditional projectile formats. What is used as a focal point is a Buzzer that is located center field. Hitting the Buzzer a team is awarded 2 points so it's not all about eliminating the opposing team, it's all about hitting that Buzzer!
The action is fast and furious and a blast to watch.
MEDIA / STATISTICS
When it comes to media the Syndicate excels. From photography to video to webcasting they have years of experience. The webcast offers fun commentary personalities and 4 camera coverage. The Syndicate believes in supplying their players with good quality media will propel the sport where it needs to be.
The Syndicate uses the RANKED SPORTZ system for event sign up, match scheduling and player/team statistic tracking. What is meant by player statistics is a player is tracked for every game they play and the outcome as well as buzzer points, survivability, penalties and more as the sports develops.
